Basketball Recap: Monterey Wildcats vs. Watertown Purple Tigers
Monterey lost against Watertown back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a hard 67-51 fall against the Purple Tigers. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
Monterey's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jp Miller, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Lee, who posted 12 points.
Monterey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Watertown, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
