Basketball Game Preview: Lancaster Bruins vs. A.C. Flora Falcons

Lancaster is 0-3 against A.C. Flora since February of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lancaster Bruins will be playing at home against the A.C. Flora Falcons at 7:45 p.m. One thing working in Lancaster's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

On Monday, Lancaster strolled past Richland Northeast with points to spare, taking the game 60-43. Given the Bruins' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Cavaliers are ranked 166th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lancaster relied on the efforts of Jordan Watford, who went 10 of 17 en route to 23 points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Columbus Parker, who went 7 of 11 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. The match was Watford's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacarey Ballard, who posted five points.

Meanwhile, A.C. Flora didn't have too much trouble with York on Monday as they won 66-49. The Falcons pushed the score to 53-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory got A.C. Flora back to even at 7-7. As for Lancaster, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
