Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins.

Nadia Jastrzemski paced Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's offense, picking up six kills. Jastrzemski got some help from Ryann Owensby and her 17 assists. Owensby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Norfolk Christian on the 15th. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
