Yamhill-Carlton's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They never let the Amity Warriors get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won 12 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Yamhill-Carlton's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Amity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9-1.
