Zionsville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Westfield, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-5 margin over the Shamrocks on Thursday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 6-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Zionsville got a great performance from Brady Shaw as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Shaw has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Riley Agbonhese was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Jackson Tielker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Zionsville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westfield only managed six hits.

Zionsville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Westfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Zionsville beat Westfield by a score of 11-3 on Friday.
