Volleyball Recap: Minden Find Success

Minden won the last time they faced St. Paul and things went their way on Saturday too. The Whippets came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Minden found their leader in sophomore Victoria Hansen, who had eight digs and two aces.

St. Paul's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keislyn Poss, who had ten digs and three aces. Poss is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zaya Lewis, who had 18 assists and five digs.

Minden's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for St. Paul, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-6.

Minden has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Gothenburg on the 20th. As for St. Paul, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chadron on the 20th.
