While Moose Lake/Willow River's win against South Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rebels had just enough and edged out the Panthers 7-6. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Riley Tasler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Jessie Volk and Kendall Volk did most of the damage at the plate: Jessie went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI, while Kendall went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jillian Grott, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Moose Lake/Willow River was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Moose Lake/Willow River back to even at 5-5. As for South Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
