Basketball Recap: DeForest Comes Up Short

DeForest lost against Fort Atkinson back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The DeForest Norskies fell 51-43 to the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks. The game marked the Norskies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

DeForest has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Fort Atkinson, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

DeForest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-70 defeat against McFarland on the 15th. As for Fort Atkinson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waunakee at 7:15 p.m. Waunakee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
