Volleyball Recap: Briggsdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Briggsdale was the 3-0 winner over Otis when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons came up short against the Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 26-24, 25-13.

Claire Brown paced Briggsdale's offense, picking up 12 kills. Brown got some help from Bailey Loyd and her 23 assists.

Briggsdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Otis, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Briggsdale will square off against Peetz at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Otis, they will take on Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
