Baseball Recap: Gateway College Preparatory Takes a Loss

Gateway College Preparatory lost against Burnet on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Gators came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-1. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gateway College Preparatory saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Garza-Gongora, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Gateway College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Burnet, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Gateway College Preparatory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burnet, they will face off against Lago Vista at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
