Softball Game Preview: Eastern View Cyclones vs. King George Foxes

Eastern View hasn't had much luck against King George recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cyclones will head out to take on the Foxes at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Eastern View sitting on 16 straight wins and King George on eight.

Eastern View's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Chancellor 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Cyclones, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday King George sidestepped James Monroe for a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Foxes have won by just one run.

King George's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Eastern View, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.

Eastern View beat King George 4-0 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
