Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crimson Cliffs). Everything went their way against the Desert Hills Thunder on Tuesday as the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs made off with a 5-2 victory. It was an even better day for Bitner Mitchell as he scored three goals for his team.

The win made it two in a row for Crimson Cliffs and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Desert Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will welcome Pine View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert Hills, they will be playing at home against Dixie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Desert Hills has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
