Basketball Recap: Tysen Jenkins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Owasso Preparatory Academy over Webbers Falls

Owasso Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Webbers Falls Warriors.

Owasso Preparatory Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tysen Jenkins, who posted 16 points. The matchup was Jenkins' seventh in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Rinas, who earned ten points.

Owasso Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Webbers Falls, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Owasso Preparatory Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Eagle Point Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Webbers Falls and Braggs will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
