Baseball Recap: Parkersburg Triumphs

Parkersburg was handed a seven-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Grafton Bearcats 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Big Reds have posted since April 15, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Cancade, who scored a run while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Peyton Davis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
