Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Jserra Catholic

If Capistrano Valley Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played JSerra Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Zachary Prouty. The JSerra Catholic Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles on Tuesday for which the team can thank Prouty, who had 11 digs and one assist. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in digs.

JSerra Catholic walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15.

The victory (which was JSerra Catholic's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-2. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

After both having extra time off, JSerra Catholic and Servite will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 19th. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will head out to square off against Samueli Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Samueli Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Capistrano Valley Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
