Nathan Axmann Delivers Best Effort of Season
Nathan Axmann produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Waverly to the win on Friday. Axmann rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Waverly's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Axmann and Waverly will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pius X at 7:00 p.m.

Andreasen Came Up Big in Pius X's 40-0 Win
Joseph Andreasen was a major factor in Pius X's win over Beatrice on Friday. Andreasen did his part (and then some), rushing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry for the 'W'.
Unfortunately for Beatrice, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Andreasen. When Andreasen last faced the Orangemen back in October of 2023, he rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns.

Beatrice was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Merrick Johnson did his best to prevent it. Johnson was dynamite, rushing for 32 yards.
Beatrice is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Johnson and Beatrice will take on Standing Bear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
