Basketball Recap: Quitman County Comes Up Short

Quitman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 76-46 loss at the hands of the Seminole County Indians. The Hornets were down 70-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Kamauri Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Seminole County, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach King, who posted nine points and eight assists.

Quitman County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Seminole County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Quitman County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-54 loss against Randolph-Clay on the 4th. Seminole County has also already played their next match, a 53-28 win against Pataula Charter Academy on the 4th.
