Watauga has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ashe County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pioneers will welcome the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Watauga's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Freedom. Considering Watauga have won four games by more than six goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Ashe County narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past South Caldwell 2-1. The victory continues a trend for Ashe County in their matchups with South Caldwell: they've now won five in a row.

Takala Barnes and Keara Stafford scored both of Ashe County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Watauga is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six matches. As for Ashe County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1.
