Basketball Game Preview: Flowery Branch Falcons vs. North Hall Trojans

Flowery Branch and North Hall are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. Both will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Flowery Branch turned things around against West Hall on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Spartans out 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since January 30th.

While North Hall didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 78-54 margin over Chestatee on Friday. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Flowery Branch's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for North Hall, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Flowery Branch came up short against North Hall when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 86-80. Can Flowery Branch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
