Baseball Game Preview: Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles vs. Eastern Randolph Wildcats

At the plate, Jose Ramirez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jaxon Mabe was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ramirez wasn't the only one making solid contact: Uwharrie Charter Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The loss snapped Eastern Randolph's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-6 record. As for Uwharrie Charter Academy, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. However, it's not like Eastern Randolph struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.7 strikeouts.
