Preview: Manchester vs. Clover Hill
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Manchester. They will be playing at home against Clover Hill at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Clover Hill will need to watch out since Manchester have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
Last Friday, Manchester put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Bird to the tune of 55-7. Senior Brendon Clark, who passed for 198 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Manchester's success. That makes it seven straight good games in a row from Clark.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Clover Hill, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. It was close but no cigar for Clover Hill as they fell 12-15 to Midlothian.
Manchester took the contest and then some with a 50-10 victory over Clover Hill the last time the two teams met. Manchester's victory shoved Clover Hill out of the playoffs, so expect the team will have a target on their back in this one.
