Saraland waltzed into their contest on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the McAdory Yellowjackets.

Taniyah Smith had a dynamite game, getting 14 assists and six aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 12 games.

Smith wasn't the only good server: Saraland was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matchups.

Saraland's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for McAdory, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Saraland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oak Mountain on the 20th. As for McAdory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Baldwin County on the 20th.
