Clayton-Ridge had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Waukon and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 10-0 to the Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost eight in a row.

New Hampton's win bumped their record up to 12-1-1. As for Clayton-Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

New Hampton got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Clayton-Ridge by a conclusive 15-5 score. Will the Chickasaws repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
