While Vinton's win against Pickering wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Vinton came out on top in a nail-biter against Pickering on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since March 28, 2024.

Vinton's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Pickering, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
