Softball Recap: Keene Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Keene's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Merrimack Tomahawks on Friday. The Blackbirds haven't had much luck with the Tomahawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Keene's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Merrimack, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Keene will challenge rival Alvirne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Merrimack is set to take on their familiar foe Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
