Softball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Takes a Loss

Crimson Cliffs lost against Cedar last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Reds.

Crimson Cliffs' loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cedar, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crimson Cliffs will head out to take on Snow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Cedar, they will venture away from home to face off against Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Reds surely won't give up without a fight.
