Softball Recap: St. Johns' Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

St. Johns put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 15-2 margin over the Alchesay Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Kelsey Scarbrough was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Pulsipher, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

St. Johns always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Johns' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Alchesay, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

St. Johns wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-1 win against Hopi on the 7th. As for Alchesay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against El Capitan on the 8th.
