It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but King ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They secured a 60-56 W over the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Tyshaun McPherason had a dynamite game, putting up 15 points in addition to seven boards and four blocks. He has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 67% every time he's hit the court this season. Corey Wellere Jr also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Despite the defeat, Perspectives Leadership/Technology had strong showings from Tristan Howard, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds, and Morgan Travis, who earned 14 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Taylor, who had nine points and three steals.

King's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, King will head out to challenge Marist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the RedHawks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, they will face off against Crane Medical at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
