Volleyball Recap: Holcomb Comes Up Short

Holcomb suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Gideon Bulldogs. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Holcomb's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Gideon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record this season.

Holcomb will be playing at home against Portageville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Gideon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
