Hargrave came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns by a score of 68-58. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Longhorns are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hargrave's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-2. As for Hamshire-Fannett, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.

Coming up, Hargrave will welcome Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hargrave knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Liberty likes a good challenge. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they will take on Livingston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hamshire-Fannett's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
