Baseball Recap: Arnold Beats Mosley for Their Third Straight Victory

Arnold won the last time they faced Mosley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arnold Marlins came out on top against the Mosley Dolphins by a score of 8-5. The win was just business as usual for the Marlins, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Arnold let Mack Jones and Braxton Greve loose on the outfield. Jones got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI, while Greve scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Greve a new career-high in runs. Mason Laymon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double.

Arnold's record now sits at 3-0. As for Mosley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Arnold will head out on the road to take on Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Arnold surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mosley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
