Baseball Recap: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Prairie Mustangs        
        
		
            
 Peetz had to endure  a  six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Prairie Mustangs  on Friday and snuck past  7-5. The  win was just what Peetz needed coming off of  a  20-0 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Rhyder Bayne made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out 13 batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Bayne was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Chance Segelke was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Segelke is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.  Noah Naegele was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 On Prairie's side,  Wyatt Butler was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riar Holloway, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-1.
 Peetz  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-4. As for Prairie,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-2.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat Peetz by a score of  17-6 later that day.
