Soccer Recap: Greenbrier East Takes a Loss

Greenbrier East managed to slip by Martinsburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans came up short against the Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Greenbrier East couldn't push the score so high this time.

Greenbrier East's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Martinsburg, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Greenbrier East is taking a road trip to square off against Pocahontas County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Martinsburg, they will welcome Musselman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
