Roanoke Valley Christian extended their postseason success on Friday against Regents. They came out on top against the Regents Lions by a score of  53-41. The  victory was nothing new for the EAGLES as they're now sitting on eight straight.
 Roanoke Valley Christian had a senior duo take command as  Logan Gutierrez  went 10-for-22  on his way to 25  points and six  rebounds and  Luke Somers  posted 16 points along with five  boards and four  steals. The  match was  Somers' third in a row with at least 16 points.
 When it comes to explaining why Regents lost, don't look at  Morris Hoffman. Despite the final result, he  shot 50% from the field to rack up 20  points in addition to six  boards and four  steals. Hoffman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tucker Jamison, who  scored ten points and five  rebounds.
Roanoke Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Regents, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.
 Roanoke Valley Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  61-50  victory against Appalachian Christian School on the 22nd. As for Regents, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  43-34  win against Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy on the 22nd.
