Dorman barely beat Spartanburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 11-5 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Dorman pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Spartanburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.
