Softball Recap: Miller School of Albemarle Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Miller School of Albemarle can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers on Wednesday. The Mavericks' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Lily Pallante made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Miller School of Albemarle's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

As of now, neither Miller School of Albemarle nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
