Homestead is 8-2 against Grafton since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Homestead Highlanders will host the Grafton Black Hawks at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Homestead was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-52 to Whitefish Bay. The contest marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Grafton played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Port Washington 62-60. The win was all the more spectacular given the Black Hawks' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Pirates are ranked 149th).

Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Homestead, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Homestead came out on top in a nail-biter against Grafton in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 69-67. Does Homestead have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grafton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
