Soccer Game Preview: Gaffney vs. Northwestern

The Gaffney Indians will head out to face off against the Northwestern Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Gaffney's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Gaffney lost 10-1 to Boiling Springs on Monday.

Meanwhile, Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Clover, falling 8-0.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gaffney, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Gaffney was able to grind out a solid victory over Northwestern in their previous matchup back in February, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gaffney since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
