Basketball Recap: Naples Classical Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Naples Classical had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it ten. They were outmatched by the Babcock Trailblazers and fell 49-19. If the Academy were looking for revenge after losing 76-46 to the Trailblazers when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Babcock, the win got them back to even at 4-4. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Babcock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finn Habing, who posted nine points. What's more, Habing also posted a 67% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Elisiah McDaniel was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals.

Naples Classical has already played their next contest (against Immokalee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Babcock, they will take on DeSoto County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
