Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Indians vs. Port Jervis Raiders

The Liberty Indians will head out to take on the Port Jervis Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Liberty is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 16-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Monticello.

Meanwhile, Port Jervis didn't have too much trouble with Monticello on Tuesday as they won 42-24. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Port Jervis' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Liberty came up short against Port Jervis in their previous matchup back in January, falling 36-31. Can Liberty avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
