Basketball Recap: Window Rock Takes a Loss

Window Rock played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Page Sand Devils 66-33. The Fighting Scouts have struggled against the Sand Devils recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Tyree Stingley, who went 8-for-15 en route to 23 points along with seven rebounds and five steals for Page. Stingley's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Joseph Benally was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to eight assists and four steals.

Window Rock's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Page, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Window Rock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-35 defeat against Chinle on the 8th.
