Basketball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

Plain Dealing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 53-22 loss at the hands of the Haynesville Golden Tornado. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 64-15 to the Golden Tornado when the teams met back in January of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Plain Dealing's loss dropped their record down to 1-28. As for Haynesville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Plain Dealing will face off against rival Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Haynesville is set to square off against their familiar foe Glenbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
