Basketball Recap: Rossford Takes a Loss

Rossford lost against Port Clinton back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rossford Bulldogs had to suffer through a 54-26 loss at the hands of the Port Clinton Redskins. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Rossford lost, don't look at Scarlett Williams. Despite the final result, she posted 16 points and seven boards. That was a full 61.5% of Rossford's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

This is the second loss in a row for Rossford and nudges their season record down to 5-7. As for Port Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Rossford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-40 defeat against Fostoria on the 9th. As for Port Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-41 victory against Huron on the 9th.
