Immokalee won the last time they faced Aubrey Rogers and things went their way on Friday too. The Indians breezed past the Patriots to the tune of 47-3. Considering the Indians have won six matchups by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marshon Jackson was his usual excellent self, picking up 66 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 41 yards and one touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Kendrick Perry made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Immokalee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 222 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Another reason for the win was Immokalee's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Izzy Lobe, Ashley Meus, and Ruben Lumeus, who each picked up one sack apiece. Perry got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Immokalee pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points over those games. As for Aubrey Rogers, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Immokalee will venture away from home to face off against Gulf Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will welcome Barron Collier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
