Basketball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

Elgin lost against Powder Valley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elgin Huskies took a hard 44-29 fall against the Powder Valley Badgers.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Powder Valley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Looking ahead, Elgin will venture away from home to take on Pine Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th. As for Powder Valley, they have already played their next contest, a 46-33 defeat against Union on the 8th.
