Burroughs kept up with Jennings until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 27-7 margin over the Bombers. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 23-6 win the Bombers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Jennings has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 30.0 points this season. As for Burroughs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jennings will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Roosevelt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
