Basketball Recap: Catholic of Pointe Coupee Comes Up Short

Catholic of Pointe Coupee lost against JS Clark Leadership Academy on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets took a 35-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the JS Clark Leadership Academy Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 98th).

Catholic of Pointe Coupee has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for JS Clark Leadership Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-11.

Catholic of Pointe Coupee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-36 victory against St. Edmund on the 4th. As for JS Clark Leadership Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-50 win against Opelousas Catholic on the 4th.
