Poudre Community Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 39-18 to the Monument Academy Lynx. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tori Howe, who posted four points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Belmont, who had four points.

Poudre Community Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Monument Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Poudre Community Academy will be playing at home against Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monument Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 47-5 loss against Battle Mountain on the 10th.
