After a string of three wins, Christian Academy of Knoxville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. George's Gryphons. The match marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

St. George's got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Jones out in front who posted 13 points. Carson Crump was another key player, putting up 14 points and five rebounds.

Christian Academy of Knoxville's defeat dropped their record down to 30-4. As for St. George's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Christian Academy of Knoxville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. George's, they are taking a road trip to challenge Battle Ground Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Battle Ground Academy has won four straight at home, while St. George's won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
