Volleyball Game Preview: Montgomery Bears vs. Georgetown Eagles

The Montgomery Bears will face off against the Georgetown Eagles on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Montgomery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Port Neches-Groves with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Georgetown made easy work of Galena Park on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 31-13. As for Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to 37-10.

Montgomery skirted past Georgetown 3-2 in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
